of Philosophy in Psychology
Doctoral
degree candidates must complete a minimum of 60 graduate credit units in
psychology in addition to a doctoral dissertation. These 60 units
include the core courses (15 units) plus an additional 12 units defining
a counseling or teaching emphasis. The doctoral dissertation
or portfolio of competence will consist of original research or a
conceptual treatment of a career emphasis showing his/her professional
