COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

1) Identify characteristics of the data processing cycle. 
2) Describe the different design tools. 
3) Explain the usage of documentation. 
4) Apply structured programming techniques. 
5) Demonstrate understanding of the 3 control structures. 
6) Describe the usage of tables. 
7) Classify multilevel reports. 
8) Apply editing tests. 
9) Apply sequential file processing. 
10) Demonstrate random file processing. 
11) Demonstrate cooperation of two or more individual to complete a task.
12) Analyze user requirements to design, organize, and create information systems or programs.

COURSE ACTIVITIES: In order to use our time wisely within the term, adherence to the following completion schedule of activities is suggested:

COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study. 

COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s).  Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
