COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

1) Demonstrate basic computer application techniques and skills.
2) Format documents using current word-processing software.
3) Create, and use spreadsheets to perform spreadsheet operations.
4) Plan and implement spreadsheet charts.
5) Integrate spreadsheet, database, and word-processing applications.
6) Use presentation techniques.
7) Create, and use databases to perform database operations.
8) Use computer network to communication purposes.

5.4 Introduction to HTML and Web Development: creating an HTML document, making headings, adding textual paragraphs, creating a hyperlink, using graphics and icons, customizing with color, tables, frames-designing a frameset, forms-designing forms, collecting special information with forms
5.5. Use of a Web Development tool

6. Computer Viruses 

6.1. An overview of Computer viruses: What is a virus? Virus symptoms, How do they get transmitted? What are the dangers, general precautions, implementing precautions

COURSE ACTIVITIES: In order to use our time wisely within the term, adherence to the following completion schedule of activities is suggested:

COURSE PREREQUISITE: A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission to this course of study. 

COURSE DELIVERY: This course shall be delivered completely through online interaction via the Internet or other acceptable distance learning medium(s). Due to this being a non-traditional program, traditional classroom residency is not required. Therefore, you are expected to independently read and analyze the subject matter with me performing the roles of an advisor and mentor.
